About this program
ISA+ is a supplementary qualification in "International Social Work" integrated into the Bachelor's program in Social Work at the Evangelische Hochschule Berlin. It systematically integrates international perspectives into the study program and prepares students for professional activities in globally and transnationally interconnected fields of practice. ISA+ combines theory, international practical experience, and reflection to qualify students for global and migration-related contexts of social work. The focus is on understanding global social inequalities and transnational interconnections, analyzing practical social problems with an international dimension, developing one's own research questions, reflecting on ethical and methodological aspects of international action, strengthening human rights, promoting intercultural competence and diversity, and building a reflexive, international understanding of social work.
