About this program

As an industrial engineer, you combine engineering knowledge with knowledge of markets and business concepts. You are at the interface of business and technology. You realize projects in all departments and learn everything about the integration of new technologies into operational processes: from optimizing operational processes, modern logistics applications and sales solutions to quality management. The program is divided into a four-semester foundational study and a three-semester specialization study. In the first four semesters, mostly compulsory modules are offered, while in the fifth and sixth semesters you set your individual focus by choosing elective modules and individual project work. In the final 7th semester, you acquire complementary practical skills in the professional work process during the 15-week practical phase and demonstrate your ability to solve problems independently with the bachelor's thesis.
