About this program
The dual study program Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen (B.Eng.) combines a recognized vocational training with studies at a university of applied sciences. Students alternate between phases at the university and in the company. The program aims to equip graduates with both a vocational qualification and a university degree, enabling them to work as engineers in various industrial sectors. Graduates will understand technical-physical contexts as well as business administration backgrounds, and possess knowledge of sales and process operations from development to after-sales. They can apply this practical, industry-independent knowledge and connect theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Graduates are capable of transferring learned knowledge to new contexts, deepening it independently, and developing sound solutions by considering economic and ecological aspects. They can work in interdisciplinary teams, acting as moderators or translators between technology and business, and communicate effectively in international environments.
