About this program
The study of Technical Cybernetics and Systems Theory is an interdisciplinary science between engineering and applied mathematics. Students receive a strong mathematical foundation and intensively study automation, modeling, analysis, systems theory, control, and optimization of technical processes. The program also includes foundational subjects from natural sciences, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and computer science. Students can deepen their knowledge in application fields such as biomedical engineering, energy networks, or robotics. Practical exercises allow students to apply advanced methods, for example, in traffic modeling, control of drive systems, or describing complex processes in precision robotics. A subject-specific internship and the bachelor's thesis allow for immediate application of knowledge in companies, research institutions, or dynamic firms. Graduates are well-prepared for diverse career fields in aerospace, robotics, environmental systems engineering, automotive, and electrical industries. A double degree in the Master's program is possible with Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
