About this program
The Master's program "Systems Engineering" is interdisciplinary and designed as a continuing education program. It combines content from engineering, natural sciences, and computer science for the development and realization of complex technical systems. The tasks of a Systems Engineer include the development of new products considering their entire life cycle including recycling, organization of production processes, quality monitoring, and project planning, implementation, and integration of complex systems with a multidisciplinary background. In the course of development, essential activities such as system analysis, system design, system development, and system testing must be mastered. In addition to competencies from the fields of the involved engineering disciplines, the ability to manage projects considering requirements, quality, and project management is also required. The program is aligned with the curriculum of the Society for Systems Engineering e.V. (GfSE), the German chapter of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE). This ensures a direct connection to practice. The program is accredited by ASIIN.
