About this program

Supervision and Coaching are central elements of modern and effective organizational development. The Protestant University of Applied Sciences builds the Master's program on its decades of experience in science and practice. The university has been successfully training supervisors as one of the first institutions nationwide since 1974; in 2004, it was the first university to offer a Master's program. Renowned scientists teach in the program and continuously develop it. Supervision is gaining increasing importance as the need for counseling rises in organizations and institutions in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors, in churches, diaconal services, Caritas, NGOs, and politics. Supervision is practice-oriented counseling for professional contexts. The professional work of those seeking advice is reflected upon and optimized, meaning the focus of the counseling is on work-related topics or work problems. You will be scientifically qualified to professionally shape supervision and coaching processes in secular and church, for-profit and non-profit sectors. Our Master's program is characterized by its academic level, the connection between theory and practice, a clear theoretical and methodological profile based on systemic-constructivist foundations, and a broad spectrum of professional groups and perspectives, as students and lecturers bring diverse expertise and field competencies. Flexible learning settings with a maximum of 24 students in total.
