About this program

The Studienkolleg NRW at Hochschule Fresenius offers preparatory courses for international students who do not automatically qualify for direct admission to a German university. The program aims to help students acquire the subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification (Feststellungsprüfung). Students can choose from three different 12-month courses: the W-Kurs for economics and social sciences, the T-Kurs for engineering, technical, or mathematical fields, and the M-Kurs for medicine or biology. The courses provide subject-specific knowledge and German language skills necessary for university admission. Additionally, students receive information about living in Germany, participate in cultural events, and access advisory services. The program is located in Cologne.
