About this program

A focus of the dual Bachelor's program in Social Services is on social work in youth, social, and health authorities. Students learn the fundamentals of social work/social pedagogy, psychology, and sociology, as well as the basics of administration and law, social medicine, and socioeconomics. They learn to make decisions about which help is most effective with which means. They learn to recognize and respect the needs and wishes of people in need. In the practical phases of the study, supervisors guide students to make solution possibilities and decisions transparent to them.
