About this program
The Soziale Arbeit Dual-Digital (B.A.) program offers an ideal framework for starting simultaneously in studies and practice – on campus, digitally, and in social work. In this combined presence/online degree program, you are integrated into professional practice from the beginning and develop a deep understanding combined with academically founded knowledge. You will shape good living conditions for people in challenging situations and society from the start of your studies and take responsibility in your role within the team and as a future social worker. You will develop a research-oriented, observational, and critically (self-)reflective attitude. You will scientifically address practice-relevant questions and develop solutions for practical challenges. The six-semester Bachelor Soziale Arbeit Dual-Digital is structured in a weekly model of '3 days of teaching and 2 days of practice.' This proven model of practice-oriented study offers not only continuity but also space for practicing and reflecting on practical experiences. You will receive a monthly financial remuneration from the practice placement. You will be accompanied in your professional development by fixed contact persons from both the university and the practice placement. Upon completion of the program, you will receive state recognition as a social worker/social pedagogue.
