About this program
The continuing education program "Schulpraktische Religionspädagogik" imparts the most important foundations for modern religious education and offers the perfect basis for teaching Catholic religion as a third subject. It imparts theological and didactic competence and expands language and action skills for religious education. The program aims to enable students to discuss the existential relevance of religions with students, to enable students to encounter people of other religions with tolerance and to enter into dialogue about questions of faith, to encourage children and adolescents to talk about the existential questions of life, to consider their own answers and to find orientation in a pluralistic world from the traditions of religions, to impart forms of lived faith, and to support students in making personal decisions regarding religion and faith.
