About this program

The Master of Science program aims to train students who are qualified for academic and industrial research in computer and systems engineering. This requires profound knowledge in computer science, automation engineering, and other engineering disciplines as application areas. Students are trained in acquiring methodical competencies and in the ability for independent research work. The Master of Science is a non-consecutive, research-oriented degree program and builds upon a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and optionally further professional experience. Due to the strong research orientation of the program and the goal of preparing students for a research career in international labs and companies, the program is offered exclusively in English.
