About this program

The Bachelor's program Rescue Management at the Faculty of Health Sciences at MSH qualifies paramedics for a role in middle-level rescue service management. Students benefit from a broad curriculum that includes management theories, business know-how, and background information on the structure and organization of rescue service systems, while also promoting the development of personal and social competencies. Rescue service is teamwork – this also applies to the organization and management of the rescue service as a whole, as efficient process structures can only be created in close cooperation with all stakeholders involved. Against this background, the program places particular emphasis on imparting strategies and concepts for interdisciplinary cooperation, partly in joint teaching units with students from related degree programs. The part-time model on block weekends gives students the opportunity to balance professional activity and/or family with their studies.
