About this program
Regenerative energy technology deals with the sustainable generation and utilisation of energy from renewable sources. The aim is to replace fossil fuels with environmentally friendly alternatives and ensure a sustainable energy supply. Engineers in this field develop, plan and operate systems for the utilisation of solar energy, wind power, bioenergy and other renewable resources. The programme comprises a combination of compulsory and elective modules. The first two semesters impart basic engineering knowledge in a practical and project-based manner. The second part of the programme focuses on regenerative energy technology, including its integration into electrical and thermal energy systems. The programme ends with a six-month final module in research or industry, which offers a practical and professionally qualifying degree.
