About this program

The Master's program Spatial Strategies deals with vacant spaces in Kiel. The result is the exhibition 'Daydreams & Nightmares – Fictions of an Obsolete City' with video art, installations, collages, and photographs. Urban intermediate states are shown: between standstill and imagination, between decay and new beginnings. It's about what remains and all that can emerge anew if you look closely. The program explores phenomena of increasingly digital space production. Algorithms are behind processes in which more and more spaces of temporary access are created, which as dividual spaces are constantly changing according to the current market.
