About this program

The program focuses on queer-feminist, and anti-/decolonial practices in artistic research. It explores how to maintain resilience in artistic studies programs, viewing and practicing artistic research as a mode of unlearning, dealing with uncertainties and risk. The program aims to facilitate space for intuitive, affective, unsystematic research, experiments, and trial & error, questioning the role of failure in institutionalized, practice-based research and avoiding programs determined by the logics of production, output, and the art market. It also examines the relationship between academic institutions and independent platforms, and how curatorial practice can create a link between them.
