About this program
This course introduces you to the world of psychoanalytic theory and practice. You will learn to understand central concepts such as transference, countertransference, and defense mechanisms and to apply them specifically in your work. You will learn how psychoanalytic pedagogy and group analysis help to better understand relationship and group processes. Case studies, classic theories by Freud, Winnicott, and Mahler, as well as modern approaches such as Moreno's sociometry and Lorenzer's scenic understanding, make this course an inspiring learning journey – for more depth, empathy, and effectiveness in your practice. It is ideal for professionals from social work and pedagogy who want to expand their understanding of psychodynamic processes. It is also ideal for counselors, therapists, or professionals in early intervention and family work who work with developmental processes and group dynamics. The course combines theory and practice – and provides you with the tools to professionally analyze and mindfully accompany relationship dynamics.
