About this program
The Master's program in Project Management (Construction) at HBC prepares you ideally for all challenges in the construction industry. You will expand your set of project management techniques and tools and acquire subject-specific knowledge of the construction and real estate industry. Whether tunnel construction, building technology, or the construction of energy plants – as a project manager specializing in the construction sector, you will be able to successfully manage any construction project. The program is also open to graduates of mechanical engineering studies. The study model with lecture-free days at the beginning of the week allows the study to be ideally combined with practical activity. This allows initial experience in the desired field of work to be gained during the studies. After graduation, graduates are ideally prepared to successfully support and advance demanding infrastructure and construction projects in engineering offices, construction companies, or public administrations. The core curriculum of the Master's program provides you with a mix of project management methods and soft skills. This deepens your knowledge from your Bachelor's studies and lays a solid foundation for your specialization. We teach all project management tools and methods interdisciplinarily and prepare our students for all current and future challenges in the industry. The focus is currently on the use of digital technologies and tools for the management and implementation of projects in the construction sector. We also help you to expand your team competence. Working in the construction sector always means working in a team. In model projects and seminars, you will build up your team skills by solving practical tasks together with a working group.
