About this program

The Bachelor's program in Product Design (B.A.) focuses on developing ideas that evolve step-by-step into well-thought-out products. Students will design forms, select materials, consider usage scenarios, and address technical requirements. The program includes continuous work on personal projects in the design studio, supplemented by a professional practice phase to apply and deepen competencies in real projects, company structures, and interdisciplinary teams. This approach aims to build a portfolio that systematically demonstrates product development skills and qualifies graduates as versatile product designers with a high degree of practical relevance. The curriculum incorporates new technologies for contemporary product design, including 3D software, XR applications, and AI, with a focus on sustainability, user experience, and accessibility.
