About this program
Print Media and Packaging Technologies is the first and still the only international engineering degree program that exclusively deals with media. It is taught entirely in English and is aimed at students from all over the world. The interdisciplinary study program combines creative design, scientific fundamentals, modern technologies, intercultural studies, business administration, and language skills. In the basic studies, students acquire a solid foundation in media engineering, packaging technology, and scientific fundamentals, while simultaneously deepening their language and management skills. In the sixth semester, a project-related internship links theory and practice. Afterwards, students take various elective courses or complete a semester at one of our partner universities in the USA, Canada, or China before writing their bachelor's thesis. Throughout the entire course of study, practical projects take place in the faculty's state-of-the-art media labs using the latest printing and packaging technologies. Graduates benefit from excellent career prospects with a 100% placement rate. The program trains managers and specialists who excel in all areas of media and prepares them for leadership positions in technology, management, and marketing in internationally expanding companies. The demanding curriculum not only ensures in-depth expertise in media engineering but also promotes critical thinking and strong communication skills.
