About this program

The M.Sc. Physician Assistance Clinical Acute and Emergency Medicine program optimally prepares you to actively shape the growing challenges in modern medicine, such as increasing patient numbers, complex treatment processes, and growing work intensification. As a qualified Physician Assistant, you will independently perform delegable medical tasks, from examination and diagnostics to patient care. In close collaboration with medical specialists, you will contribute to relieving the strain on existing resources in the healthcare system and open up exciting career prospects in a future-proof professional field. The program follows the guidelines for the Physician Assistant profession developed by the Working Group of German Medical Associations and the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians from 2017, combining learning at the university with practical experience in healthcare settings. It also aligns with the content of the additional medical training in 'Clinical Acute and Emergency Medicine'.
