About this program
The continuing education program is aimed at employees in the field of integration assistance in Hamburg who support people with disabilities in everyday life. Over three consecutive days, the basics of nursing care, central expert standards, and their practical implementation will be taught – with a special focus on participation, self-determination, and the demands of everyday life for people with disabilities. The goal is to strengthen employees professionally and give them more confidence in dealing with people in need of care. Participants will learn to recognize care needs and risks early, derive appropriate measures, and document them comprehensibly. At the same time, they will reflect on their own role, responsibility, and limits in everyday nursing care.
