About this program
The Master's program Sustainable Process Engineering and Chemistry builds upon classical engineering disciplines by synergistically combining knowledge and skills from natural sciences and technology. The goal is to make a necessary and valuable contribution to the transformation of the chemical industry. This involves transitioning starting materials, processes, and products into a robust circular economy where renewable raw materials and recycled materials are used in an environmentally friendly manner for economic benefit and the well-being of all. The program aims to equip students with the ability to solve complex challenges, work interdisciplinarily and in teams, develop economically optimized solutions, make future-oriented decisions, and act sustainably in ecological and social terms.
