About this program

The Bachelor's program in Motorsport Engineering combines fascination with innovation. No race can be won without the know-how of vehicle developers, the men and women in the background. They form the engine, the driving force for every race. The Motorsport Engineering degree program will teach you the technical knowledge for the development and construction of a successful racing car. A special focus is placed on the areas of environmentally friendly driving and e-mobility. Subjects such as mathematics, physics, materials technology, design, and technical mechanics, i.e., fundamentals from the fields of natural sciences and mechanical engineering, form the knowledge base. In the further course, your knowledge will be specifically deepened and aligned with the field of motorsport. Applying learned knowledge in practice: The degree program emphasizes a close integration of theory and practice, for example, through internships or a specific motorsport project. The Running Snail Racing Team of OTH Amberg-Weiden also offers a lot of interesting potential and the chance to experience national and international race tracks up close. You can be sure: After successful completion, you will be well-prepared for a successful career in motorsport or vehicle technology!
