About this program

The consecutive Master's program in Mathematics and Business Mathematics builds upon a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. It is also open to Bachelor's graduates from teaching degree programs in Mathematics or from degree programs in other disciplines with at least six semesters of standard study time and sufficient mathematical training. Students can choose from three specializations, allowing them to focus solely on mathematics, select an application subject, or emphasize both business mathematics and economics. The program aims to deepen mathematical knowledge for independent research and further education, offering significant freedom of choice. Functional analysis is the only mandatory course for all students. This approach guides students towards current research topics, culminating in the Master's thesis.
