About this program
The Bucerius Master of Law and Business (LL.M. / MLB) prepares young professionals for international careers in which an understanding of both legal and business concepts as well as intercultural skills are essential. The program is interdisciplinary and international, welcoming students from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds. It is geared towards young professionals in the legal and business fields but also open to graduates of other disciplines with a demonstrated interest in law and business. The curriculum follows a company-lifecycle approach, examining the founding and development of an enterprise from legal and business perspectives. Students can focus on two subject areas by choosing from eight electives and have the opportunity to specialize in arbitration or entrepreneurship. The program includes coursework, a two-month internship, a master's thesis, and participation in a social project.
