About this program

The Master's program in Architecture builds on the content and learning objectives of the Bachelor's program. Design theory is deepened, enabling students to independently handle complex design tasks constructively, creatively, and sustainably. Spatial, technical, and urban planning contexts can be applied in an extended and deepened form. Elective subjects focus on future building culture knowledge areas, preparing students for potential specialization in their professional practice and broadening their educational horizons. The program aims to impart knowledge, foster critical reflection, discussions, and experiments, and explore areas indirectly related to the professional field. Students are encouraged to develop independent paths in a constantly evolving understanding of architecture and take responsibility for shaping the built environment. New societal demands require new positions or legitimization in architectural practice. The program strengthens self-reflection and the ability to discuss, experiment, and take risks with new approaches.
