About this program
The dual study program aims to provide students with broad and integrated knowledge and understanding of the scientific foundations of logistics management and its business administration fundamentals, and to enable them to apply this to known and new logistics tasks. The program focuses on corporate and inter-company logistics management and the use of information technologies in logistics management, industry knowledge of logistics service providers, industry, and trade, business administration concepts, methods, and instruments applied to logistics management, and communication and leadership skills in national and international contexts. Applied teaching methods such as case studies, project work, and business games are used. The dual structure involves alternating three-month study phases at the university and practical phases at a partner company. Students collect, evaluate, and interpret relevant information at two learning locations to derive scientifically sound judgments that consider social, scientific, and ethical insights.
