About this program
The Hamburger Logistik-Bachelor (HL-B) combines the HFH's Business Administration bachelor's degree with vocational training as a "Kauffrau/Kaufmann für Speditions- und Logistikdienstleistung" (Clerk for Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services) and attendance at a vocational school. This practice-oriented concept combines training in freight forwarding and logistics companies in the Hamburg metropolitan region, attendance at the Vocational School for Logistics, Shipping, and Tourism (BS09), and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration (B.A.) at the HFH. The tri-qualifying training program lays a solid foundation for a career in the freight forwarding and logistics industry. The dual training and integrated business administration studies with a focus on logistics prepare students practically and scientifically for tasks in the industry. The company training lasts three years and starts simultaneously with the eight-semester bachelor's program. Vocational school training and studies are coordinated in terms of content, time, and organization. Within four years, graduates will have a dual qualification and receive two degrees: Bachelor of Business Administration (B.A.) and Clerk for Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services.
