About this program

In a world full of information, communication determines what gets through. Companies, brands, and organizations need to present content in a way that is understood, remembered, and shared. This is exactly what communication designers are needed for, who structure content, translate it visually, and target it specifically to their audiences. The degree program is aimed at everyone who wants to consciously design, manage, and implement communication – whether directly after high school, in their career, or to combine creative and strategic skills. From the idea to the implementation, visual concepts emerge from initial ideas that shape brands, get messages across, and become visible through your implementation in digital media – supported by modern tools, web technologies, and targeted use of AI throughout the entire design process. This is how you develop a profile as a communication designer who combines design, strategy, AI-supported processes, and digital implementation, and is particularly in demand in interdisciplinary teams and small and medium-sized enterprises. The Design Studio is at the center of your studies: your creative workspace where you work on your own projects from the beginning. This is where not only your portfolio grows, but also your sense of how good communication works. You will also integrate AI-supported methods into your design and development process.
