About this program

The organ is oriented towards the sound ideal of German and French Romanticism, with a rich palette of characteristic 8' labial registers, especially in the swell box, offering delicate and very quiet tones. The well-developed swell boxes in the II and III manuals have all the necessary reed stops for the literature of symphonic French organ music of the 19th and 20th centuries. The new instrument has a number of constructional features for the interpretation of contemporary organ music and organ improvisation, including mixture setters for all divisions, a pizzicato coupler Hauptwerk/Pedal, an additive and releasable key action, a pedal division for the entire pedal (H-c), and an additional wind reduction. It also features a MIDI system (with replay) and a state-of-the-art setter system with title-based storage.
