About this program

The Kindheitspädagogik, B.A. VollzeitPlus program combines theoretical knowledge with continuous practical experience. Students acquire professional and methodological competencies to professionally shape educational and upbringing processes for children aged 0 to 14 in daycare centers, full-day primary schools, and family contexts. Reflection, communication, and pedagogical attitude are central. The VollzeitPlus model allows for flexible practical phases, enabling students to work as paid professionals from the 4th semester onwards, parallel to their studies. The program strengthens professional identity through modules on professional self-understanding, ethics, communication, and conflict resolution. Small groups and close support foster personal development. Integrated certificates in movement, child protection, and health promotion offer additional qualifications. Learning takes place through experiential methods, including activities outside the classroom, in studios, museums, and collaborative formats with other disciplines.
