About this program

The International Master of Interior-Architectural Design is a master's program with an international profile. In four semesters, students gain a deeper understanding of the potential and quality of the spaces in which we spend an average of 90 percent of our lives today for living, working, and leisure activities, in order to take responsibility for shaping the built environment with their own ideas in the future. The first and third semesters are spent at Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences. The second semester is spent at one of our partner universities. Every year, all partners meet between the second and third semesters for an international workshop at one of the university locations. Teaching builds on the content and learning objectives of space-related bachelor's programs and deepens design theory in order to find independent answers to complex design tasks and develop them creatively and constructively. Individual areas of knowledge can be deepened in elective subjects.
