About this program
We offer a degree program that provides excellent artistic and pedagogical training while leaving ample room for creative processes and projects. Individuality is highly valued! You can major in violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, horn, trombone, tuba, and, depending on capacity, piano and percussion. Minors include piano as well as accordion, guitar, organ, or saz. Self-chosen projects and a well-founded education round off the program. In addition to core subjects, all students can specialize in mediation according to their own interests within the program, choosing from concert pedagogy, music school practice, ensemble direction, and much more. The program equips our graduates to work in instrumental pedagogy at music schools, with independent organizations, cultural institutions, or as freelancers, in addition to artistic activities.
