About this program

This Bachelor's program provides the optimal foundation for a successful career as a software specialist. The gaming industry has grown to become the most important infotainment sector in the world, surpassing film and music. In addition to games for pure entertainment, Serious Games, which are focused on education, also contribute to this success. Immersive training software allows for playful education, for example, in surgery for practicing complicated operations or in the form of photorealistic flight simulations. Furthermore, technologies developed for computer games are now used in numerous other industries, such as autonomous driving. Even in advertising, more and more techniques from computer games are being used. The "Informatik – Game Engineering" degree program prepares you optimally for all these industries. We support you from the beginning with tutorials, small learning groups, special programs for students, and intensive support for internships and theses. Specifically for our first-semester students in technical Bachelor's programs, we offer a preparatory math course. In addition, you can expect practice-oriented learning and teamwork, a familiar atmosphere, and professors who know you by name.
