About this program
The certificate course aims to provide people already working in low-threshold social work with the opportunity to expand their foundational knowledge of social work. It is about reflecting on one's own activities in the context of theoretical concepts of social work, learning methodical approaches, and deepening expertise on the life worlds of the target group. At the same time, legal foundations for working with groups and individuals in public spaces are taught, and low-threshold support services are located within networks of social work. A special focus of the certificate course is on professional exchange and networking among participants. They will get to know different providers and working approaches of low-threshold social work in Berlin and deal with local structures, cooperation possibilities, and interfaces.
