About this program

The Bachelor's program in Early Childhood Inclusive Education (BiB) focuses on the international guiding principle of inclusion. It aims to promote educational justice and enable every child to develop their individual competencies, with a particular focus on overcoming educational disadvantages. Students acquire extensive competencies for supporting the educational and developmental processes of children (0-12 years) and for designing inclusive childhood pedagogy. The study program is aimed at individuals who want to qualify in the field of early childhood education. This includes educators seeking further qualifications, high school graduates aiming for a career in early childhood inclusive education, and career changers with other professional or academic degrees. The study program is practice-integrated, meaning students are typically employed part-time (15-22 hours per week) as interns or professionals in early childhood education, care, and upbringing facilities.
