About this program

Religion shapes the thoughts and actions of many people, influences our cultures, societies, and ethical beliefs. This program offers a transdisciplinary study with a theological and pedagogical focus and a constant practical relevance. It enables students to competently and sensitively engage in discussions about religion, understand religious questions, and develop an understanding of the religious dimension of life. The program imparts pedagogical, humanistic, diaconal, and theological competencies for interpreting, didactically conveying, and diaconically shaping religion.
