About this program

The "Start Smart" study variant offers extended standard study time and provides more intensive support in foundational subjects. It aims to equip students with solid foundations through individual mentoring, additional courses for study organization, and practical projects that teach typical engineering work methods. The fachlichen Grundlagen (technical foundations) are deepened through supplementary events, and the learning intensity is spread over several semesters. Students will gain practical skills during a 15-week practical phase in their final semester and demonstrate their ability to solve problems independently with their Bachelor's thesis.
