About this program
The Electrical Engineering and Electronics (ETL) degree programme combines a solid grounding in electrical engineering and electronics with practical training. Well-equipped laboratories and state-of-the-art test benches enable you to apply your theoretical knowledge directly and gain practical experience with the latest technology. Through exciting project work, you will tackle real-world challenges whilst still studying and, in the later semesters, collaborate on solution-oriented projects – just as you will in your future career. The programme offers two profiles: Electrical Engineering and Electronics. The Electrical Engineering specialization focuses on electrical systems, supply networks and energy technology, while the Electronics specialization focuses on electronics technology, processor-supported applications, assemblies and devices as well as aspects of industrial electronics. Innovative and forward-looking teaching content is provided on topics such as low-power design, diagnostics and repairability. Further specialization and supplementary courses, for example on electromobility, storage technology and software technology, can be taken from the compulsory elective area. Several specialized English modules are included in the first and second semesters. The final stage of study includes an internship in industry and the preparation and defence of the Bachelor's thesis.
