About this program
The "Blended" learning degree program Digital Engineering is designed for those interested in technology and business, digitalization, and Artificial Intelligence, who also want to study with temporal and spatial flexibility. Through online formats, supplemented by compact on-site phases, the combination of theory and practice, and contact with business partners, the Digital Engineering program offers maximum flexibility, practical relevance, and networking. The program, funded by the state of Baden-Württemberg, combines all relevant topics of Business Administration, Engineering, AI, and IT. It is a cross-university program, meaning students study at multiple locations and benefit from the strengths and perspectives of different universities, integrated into a unique learning network. The program is a cooperative study program at the Universities of Biberach, Albstadt-Sigmaringen, and Offenburg, which, deviating from traditional on-site teaching, features a comprehensive online study concept with self-study phases and limited on-site phases at the participating universities. The concept of the Digital Engineering program offers the majority of the study program digitally synchronously or asynchronously and supplements it with block on-site events.
