About this program

The program uniquely combines media-specific content from economic, technical, and social science perspectives with interdisciplinary economics studies. It aims for research-oriented deepening of competencies acquired in a Bachelor's program. Mandatory modules include Media Economics, Media Marketing, Media Management and Communication Theories, and Media Law. Students can choose modules from three elective areas: 'Companies, Strategy and Management', 'International Economics and Communication', and 'Complementary Aspects of Media Economics'. The program offers further specialization and qualification compared to the Bachelor's degree, preparing students for independent scientific work and doctoral studies.
