About this program

In the Lehramt an Gymnasien (teaching degree for grammar schools) program, students study two subjects, including their didactics, and educational sciences. Additionally, there is an interdisciplinary MINT (Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, Technology) networking area. The program emphasizes practical orientation from the beginning with a company internship, a basic internship, and a practical semester. The program concludes with the First State Examination. The Lehramt Erweiterungsfach (teaching degree extension subject) offers the possibility to study an additional subject, either parallel to the main studies or after the First State Examination.
