About this program
The Master's program "Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship" is designed for individuals who are already in their professional lives and want to take on more responsibility and develop further, or for recent Bachelor's graduates who want to learn how to be entrepreneurial, whether in an "employee job," a start-up, or founding a company. The modern hybrid study concept with online learning, compact presence phases (typically about two days a week) on the Kemnath campus, and selected block events makes it easy to balance studies with work, family, and everyday life. The program also offers the unique opportunity to actively shape the course of study. Small cohorts ensure close exchange and create a learning environment tailored to the demands of modern companies and the needs of students. The focus is on modern management skills, innovation, entrepreneurship, and intrapreneurship. It's not just about founding your own company, but about recognizing opportunities, taking responsibility, and actively shaping change. Not every graduate will found a company, but every graduate will learn to think and act like an entrepreneur. The program combines scientific foundation with consistent practical orientation and conveys a clear thematic profile in the areas of Innovation & Business Transformation, Start-up & Corporate Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Finance & Investment, and Leadership & Change Management. Project-based teaching formats, interactive seminars, and real innovation projects foster analytical thinking as well as entrepreneurial implementation skills. Students systematically work with scientific methods and develop the ability to translate complex economic issues into viable business models. Courses are usually held in blocks. This compact structure creates space for intensive project work, exchange in the innovation environment, and the independent development of founding and innovation projects. Students are supported by experienced professors and industry experts from the innovation and start-up environment. Personal support in small, international cohorts enables intensive exchange and individual feedback. At the Kemnath campus, students benefit from an innovative learning environment in a rural area with close integration of science, business, and regional development.
