About this program

The program is designed for 3 years and takes place in digital lectures, individual block seminars on-site, and guided self-study. After successful completion, graduates will be integrated into the vicariate of the ELKB. After the vicariate, graduates will bear the title "Pfarrerin" / "Pfarrer" and will be considered equivalent to graduates of the standard access route to the pastoral office. This new program replaces the previous Pfarrverwalter-Studiengang. In the future, Abitur and Bachelor's degrees will not be prerequisites.
