About this program
For strong bridges, stable tunnels, and tall buildings that withstand storms, snow loads, and earthquakes, reliable calculations and data are needed. Civil engineers do this: they know exactly how to build the tallest buildings so they stand safely, face the challenges of a construction site, search for new materials that are resistant, environmentally friendly, and durable, they bend glass and print steel, build roads and stadiums, and coordinate all necessary processes. And thus, they make our environment a little better every day.
