About this program
The Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Civil Engineering combines engineering know-how with sustainable and practice-oriented solutions for the construction world of tomorrow. Graduates can become members of an engineering chamber (in all federal states) and thus authorized designers of building plans. This requires a minimum of 2 years of professional practice after graduation, in addition to chamber membership. Subsequently, you will receive the "große Bauvorlageberechtigung" (large building plan authorization). You will also gain important qualifications to focus on sustainability management and/or building energy consulting, or to become an authorized designer or expert.
