About this program
The career-integrated Bachelor's program in Childhood Pedagogy is aimed at experienced professionals – especially educators and specialists from the early childhood education field – who want to scientifically deepen their professional practice and qualify for specialist, management, and development roles. The study program is consistently oriented towards the combination of work and academic qualification. It takes place parallel to pedagogical activity, which serves as a central learning and experience space. Students work in a pedagogical institution for children from 0 to 13 years of age – with at least half of a full-time position. The study program alternates between presence phases at the university, self-study phases, and practical phases.
