About this program

The Bachelor's program trains students for work with children from birth to the end of primary school age, for work with their parents and caregivers, and for work in interdisciplinary teams. The full-time, on-campus program emphasizes a close integration of theory and practice. Practical phases include professional, research-oriented, and self-reflection-challenging tasks. Students learn to connect scientific knowledge and methods with pedagogical practice, gain and reflect on practical experience, and develop their own professional identity. The program features an innovative workshop concept for practice-oriented, research-based learning in areas such as science and technology, free expression, aesthetic practice, movement, and project- and case-related research workshops.
