About this program
The artistically-pedagogical Bachelor's program in Accordion prepares students for a versatile artistic and pedagogical professional activity. The combination of artistic and pedagogical training content opens up a broad field of work, ranging from permanent employment in a pedagogical or artistic institution to the area of freelance musicians or instrumental pedagogues. Fields of activity include, for example, music schools, instrumental instruction at general education schools or daycare centers, vocational schools, and educational institutions of all kinds. It is also possible, for example, to work in concert pedagogy, where graduates appear equally as artists and educators. The high level of instrumental pedagogical qualifications, combined with musical-artistic skills and stylistic versatility, offers the opportunity to position oneself individually in the pedagogical and artistic field and to respond flexibly to the needs of the labor market.
