About this program

The goal of art therapy is to strengthen the creative energy, self-healing powers, and self-responsibility inherent in every person. It combines the disciplines of visual arts with therapeutic methods. Art therapy primarily works with the resources, sources, and strengths of people, without avoiding their conflicts. Art therapy, as a low-threshold offer, helps people to visualize fears, hopes, and desires and to develop surprising solutions with the help of design. In the clinical context, art therapeutic work is now an integral part of therapeutic offerings and is gaining increasing importance, especially in the socio-cultural, interdisciplinary, and intercultural space.
